What Is A Roblox Gift Card For?

They’re everywhere! I know. You see them at the Gas Station, Wal-Mart, Target, GameStop, and a few other retailers. I’m happy to announce that you can find them at your local CVS as well. I know this because I had a headache trying to figure out what is a Roblox Gift Card for and the pharmacy happened to have something to deal with my headache and Roblox cards near check out. After inquiring about the cards I was told they were used to purchase ” stuff ” in online games. I’m a gamer who plays online games so I purchased the $10 card. Roblox Gift Cards are for the Roblox platform and I found that out when I got home, really looked at it and did a little research. The helpful CVS clerk probably wrongly assumed like I did that these cards could be used on multiple platforms. They won’t work on your new PlayStation 5 friends.

What Is Roblox?

For me, you, and the rest of the folks who have been off the grid and away in a cave I’ll quickly explain exactly what we’re dealing with here. The future of online gaming. Hop aboard!

Dave Baszucki and Eric Cassel founded this game in 2004 and it was released two years later in 2006. It is an online game creation platform that allows users to program and play games created by other users. Roblox is free-to-play with in-game purchases available through a virtual currency called ” Robux “. These in-game purchases can be made with Roblox Gift Cards.

Don’t worry about my ” Caveman ” jokes because this game was pretty much in the cave with us-we didn’t notice it. Unless you were searching the internet for such a game you probably never heard of it. I only know about this game because I see these gift cards everywhere and I finally decided to get myself one. Once I realized I couldn’t use it I did some research on it.

It’s lack of popularity was not an issue with its creators; they lacked interest in press coverage.

Low-key may have been they way the creators preferred things in the beginning but that would all change. Today the platform has over 164 million monthly active users. Huge hit with teens.

Card Uses

Roblox first released their Game Cards on September 26, 2010 at the children’s Toys retailer Toys R Us. Today you can find these cards at retailers everywhere including online.

The Roblox Gift Cards can be used to buy Robux or a Premium Subscription. These cards can also be used to obtain exclusive items not available to users in the free play game mode. There are many cool items for you to choose from and the selection changes each month.

Roblox has a monthly Premium Subscription available to its users that allows subscribers to buy, sell, and trade items, as well as increased revenue share on all sales in your games. Any revenue generated from a user’s own creation can be converted into currency. Super cool.

I believe a more convenient way to buy would be to purchase your Roblox Gift Card using the link I provide in this article. Already have a Roblox account? Roblox Gift Card Amounts

I wanted to show the above screenshot so that you know custom amounts can be purchased as well. That’s right, you can put that lovely $13 you lost but recently discovered on that debit card to good use. This is great if you don’t like set amounts. Take control my friend.

I have seen these card amounts start as low as $5 with the ability to purchase up to $200. As with most in-store gift cards you tell the clerk the amount you want on the card and you will get a receipt. The receipt may have instructions on how to redeem your Roblox Gift Card, but if not the card itself will have instructions on the reverse side along with a protected scratch-off area revealing your pin code. The pin is protected for a reason so you shouldn’t be sharing it.
